Holiday Wish List Program
Families in need during the holidays, please visit the Holiday Wish List Form.
There are several ways to sponsor a child. Pick the way that is best for you, your company, your troop or your group. You are giving a very special gift.
1.
Go to the Sponsor Form Page Choose a holiday package for a child in need, and fill out the form. Shop for the items you choose. Drop them off unwrapped by December 15th at 86 South Street in Hopkinton. We are open Monday through Thursday 9am-4pm. Please call 508-435-6511 the day you are coming to drop off items to ensure we are open and that a volunteer will be present to assist you and provide you with a tax receipt. After we receive your form info, we will match your sponsorship with a child and let the parents know their child has been sponsored. To serve the growing number of families participating in this program, we have organized it to ensure that children that are not sponsored can then receive holiday packages by items we put together in house.
2.
Buy 3 gift Cards: 1 for warm winter clothing from any store, 1 gift card from a toy or book store and 1 gift card for music, food or sports store. We will then give these 3 gift cards to a child's parents so they can get their child 3 items for their holiday with love and dignity.
3.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Are the donations tax deductible?
Yes, all holiday donations are tax deductible. Project Just Because, Inc. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our TIN is 06-1728553
How much do I spend on a child?
This is at your discretion, but we do ask that you fill at least 3 wishes at a minimum from any basic holiday wish list you choose.
Can I buy more than what's specified on the Holiday Package List?
Yes, and we want you and your family or company to have fun.
Why do the gifts have to be unwrapped?
This is to preserve the dignity of the child's family, who often feel self-conscious about resorting to a charity for their holiday gifts. The child's parents will wrap the gift, so that they feel included in the process.
Why a warm clothing gift card instead of just giving us the child's clothing size?
The sizing from store to store and brand to brand varies significantly. With a gift card, the family in need can go to the store and try things on to ensure a proper fit. This makes for a very happy child – giving them the gift of choice. Having 4 children of my own, 4-12 years of age, I know that children enjoy picking out something special to keep them warm during the harsh New England Winters. We are trying hard to serve these very special children in need the best way we can.
Can my family, company or troop put in a note with the gifts?
Yes, any note, picture or card is welcome and will be given to the family. This is welcome with all our programs year round.
