Below are a lot of other resources for help in our state and local communities.

Neighbor Brigade. We are a nonprofit that is building volunteer-based networks of neighbors helping neighbors in local communities. We reach out to individuals and families who have been hit with a temporary crisis, such as a serious illness or tragic event. Non-medical services are completely volunteers and include meals, local rides, dog walking, local errands, and more to these individuals until they are back up on their feet.  www.neighborbrigade.org.

www.freecycle.org, Connects people in need with people who have items they want to give away for free.
